Reasons to visit
The bunkhouse is converted from an old, listed, church schoolhouse making it an interesting bed for the night. It's close to local attractions and an ideal base for exploring southern Kintrye.
You can walk in the footsteps of saints and kings, hike the spectacular Kintyre Way, surf at Machrihanish, visit Springbank Distillery, play golf on two championship standard courses and ride horses along beaches and forest trails.
A passenger/cycle ferry runs to Northern Ireland and Ayrshire while car ferries service the routes to the local islands of Arran, Gigha, Islay and Jura.
Campbeltown is close to the Gulf Stream and the temperature generally above the UK average. Look out for gardens with unprotected palm trees!
