23/10/2023Great location, comfy beds, lots of space in the dining room, would definitely stay again.
21/10/2023I was soaked and they let me dry and wash my clothes without more charging. The atmosphere was good (coffee and tea for free) the room and the toilet nice. It was just what I needed before going back to the WHW, thanks!
13/10/2023Friendly staff, great location and nice atmosphere. Good base for the Crianlarich Munros and Glencoe can be hit in around 45 minutes by car. Reception staff relaxed and helpful, look forward to staying again.
10/10/2023Relaxing, easy place to stay. We really enjoyed the whole experience.
02/10/2023Perfect location Staff very helpfulFacilities excellent
01/10/2023Great hostel, nice, quiet location. Good stop off for people doing the west highland way.
26/09/2023Everything was just great- the welcome, cleanliness, facilities. Half-way through my WHW hike, I could wash my clothes and get some rest in a very friendly, welcoming athmosphere. Would definitely come back!
21/09/2023It's been a while since I last stayed at the hostel in Crianlarich, but happy to note that it was just like visiting an old friend again. Check-in was easy and quick, private room was very adequate and staff very friendly.
17/09/2023Great hostel & great location for a day in the mountains.
16/09/2023An excellent stay all round. Worthy of particular note: your evening duty warden (apologies, I don't know her name) is well-organised, efficient and friendly and makes us feel like we're staying in ‘our' hostel rather than another anonymous hotel or B&B.
11/09/2023Good location with friendly staff and adequate facilities for our needs. The drying room was especially helpful after a wet day.
10/09/2023Great location, reliable accommodation. Staff were attentive, rooms clean etc. Biggest bonus was wonderful coffee available to all guests.
10/09/2023Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless.
08/09/2023I cannot praise the Crianlarich team enough. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and clearly loved working there. Housekeeping duties were completed with military precision but customer focus was always uppermost. The location was delightful: just a hop, skip and jump from the train station and adjacent to the start of a woodland walk, taking in the 'mountain view' and 'drovers' loop' paths - well worth a walk. Although I was self-catering, the Wee Breakfast looked delightful and good value
06/09/2023Perfect start to hostelling trip around Scotland. Great lounge area.
05/09/2023Pleasant stay in very conveniently located hostel
04/09/2023I have used Crianlarich before, have always found staff to be excellent and again found this to be the case. I was surprised to find that suttle changes had been made that made the place feel more homely, prettier to the eye and comfortable. There was very good information displayed and it was very welcoming to have coffee available after a long day on the hills.Thank youM McAulay
01/09/2023John and the team were welcoming and went above and beyond to help.Location is ideal for exploring the majority of the West Coast of Scotland and we were fortunate with very few midges!Rooms were tidy and the layout worked for us as a group having the whole place to ourselves.
29/08/2023As a first stop on a motorbike trip around the Scottish coast this Hostel is a must. Good local facilities and a friendly staff. Beds were the best of my trip :)
27/08/2023Most enjoyable, spacious accomodation, lovely comfy beds, relaxed friendly atmosphere
21/08/2023We had a wonderful time at this hostel. The staff were so helpful and even let us stay well beyond check out time to watch the football on TV! Breakfast was perfect and the whole place has a very cosy and friendly atmosphere. We had our dog with us too and appreciated that there were water bowls available. There are some great walks in the immediate vicinity. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
13/08/2023Hostel was spotless, and staff were lovely.
10/08/2023Lovely and quiet. Friendly staff. Good supply of coffee.
07/08/2023Molly was kind enough to check me in after the standard time. Which really made a difference to my trip. And it was so lovely to see my mate James working there.
05/08/2023Ridiculously handy for the train station - and bus services a welcome surprise too. Though many of our fellow guests were walking in, impressively. The usual friendly welcome atmosphere kicked us straight into holiday mood.
04/08/2023I stayed with my adult daughter just the one night as heading home BUT such a great place! Thankyou
03/08/2023We had a very pleasant stay of 3 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free coffee and tea!!!
