Fab stay at Crianlarich hostel - so close to the train station which was a godsend for two weary travellers in need of a sit down and a cup of tea. Short walk to the village where there is a small local shop, a hotel for non-residents to eat, but book! and a pub at the other end of the village beyond the police station - check opening days and hours. All in all a good base for travellers, and walkers and one I would recommend to walking friends. Take mossy spray, there is a stream nearby!AliRR

Tucked into a tiny town where mainly walkers cross, this hostel is one level, easy to access from train and steps from Londi's and a good pub.Diane & #SpiritTravels

All in all a good place to stay. It provides the usual facilities, there is a shop within 200 yards and a decent pub is just a short stroll away. I will undoubtedly be staying again.Jeap

A well equipped hostel with comfortable lounge, spacious dining area, excellent drying facilities, clean and comfortable sleeping quarters and excellent kitchen facilities but space and access was limited in kitchen when used by several people at once. Staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. Would highly recommend the hostel which offered good value for money.Fochabers Hill Walking and Rambling Club

Had a great time staying at Crianlarich! So close to the train station and right in the midst of mountains. Clean and comfy, and the gas fireplace and blankets and vintage train advertisements were enjoyable.Hayley Ryerson

It was a joy to meet so many from all over the UK and beyond and hearing of their adventures as they did mine. The hostelling added so much to my holiday and none of this would have been possible if it were not for the hostel for a break for food and rest.Abbie
