The weather during my stay was great, which of course helps, but the location, staff and comfort were all I was hoping for in a hostel.Nigel

Tomasz and his colleagues offered a friendly welcome, the hostel is well-situated for hillwalking and the building was comfortable & very clean. My only criticism is the toilets & showers. These have been changed from being single-gender to being used by both men & women. This creates issues of privacy & dignity which may be be a particular issue for women travelling alone and so is arguably indirectly discriminatory. It would be much preferable if the facilities reverted to single-sex use.Alan Fraser

It could do with some TLC. The showers and toilets need a refurb. Some more private shower and toilet facilities would be nice. The private room we had did not have reading lights at all the beds. Some of the doors banged very loudly as people went in and out . Could these have a softer close? Everywhere was very clean. Good cooking facilities.Elinor

The hostel is superbly situated, bird song resonates, tucked away in the Glen. All facilities are great, particularly the kitchen and drying facilities. We are a Dance Company and felt welcomed and staff were helpful and understanding with the groups needs. I want to bring my family back it was just wonderful, weather was perfect so nothing to dislike ??Envisage Dance Company

the Glencoe Youth Hostel was that needed refuge, after a day of hiking the Glencoe heights in rainy weather. In there, I found the right comfort away from home, where I could rest and refuel. The Kitchen is well stocked, that even if I didn't come with raw food, I could still fix something to eat. There's an air of camaraderie amongst hikers, a it's easy to get into lively cheer in the lounge. It was easy to check-in and check-out. I definitely recommendKenneth

I stayed in the pod for a few days, and it was excellent. It is very cozy and comfortable. It was nice to have the amenities of the hostel available, but the privacy of my own space. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.SW
