The hostel was clean, warm and cosy - everything we were looking for on our weekend away - and very good value for money. The location was great for nipping to the high street and the views on a morning were just spectacular. We would definitely come back and stay again. No

Reasons to visit
Pitlochry sits in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. Easily accessible by train and bus, it's ideally situated for touring Highland Perthshire.
Set amidst hills, lochs and woodland, Pitlochry makes a superb base for outdoor enthusiasts wanting to explore the area's numerous walking and cycle routes.
The famous salmon ladder, Blair Castle, Blair Atholl Distillery and the Queen's View are not to be missed and Pitlochry Festival Theatre, known affectionately as the "Theatre in the Hills", offers a varied and exciting programme of events throughout the year.
Using the forest as a natural backdrop "The Enchanted Forest" in nearby Faskally Wood is a lighting show that is quite simply out of this world. Each October the autumn woodland is transformed into one of Scotland's premier light and sound experiences that dazzles and delights. Unmissable.
